Rankwire
Exclusive homeowner leads for home-service contractors. We open our own local brand per trade per market, and every call or form goes to one contractor only. The aim: a repeatable, mostly automated pipeline per brand.
How the business works
- Offer: pay-per-lead, exclusive, delivered in under 60 seconds. Angi and Thumbtack share each lead with 2–10 pros.
- The brands are ours, not the contractor's, so contractors are interchangeable.
- Traffic: Google Ads first, Meta ads for planned jobs, SEO and AI search in the background, cold email on the side.
- Legal setup: each brand starts as a referral service ("we connect you with a licensed pro"). Google keeps lead companies off Maps, so each brand later moves onto the contractor's licence as a registered name (DBA), which unlocks Maps, reviews and the Google Verified badge. SealWell goes first.

The brand playbook
Every new brand runs the same 8 steps, run end to end by AI (Claude Code); a person steps in only for money, logins and the contractor.
- Legal check for the trade and state.
- Contractor questions: areas, hours, services, licence, photos, reviews.
- Four landing page drafts from competitor research; the partners pick one.
- Name, domain, logo and a local tracking number.
- Full site: area and city pages, ad landing pages, guides.
- SEO and AI search jobs switched on.
- Google Ads, Meta page and ads, conversion tracking, call recording, lead emails.
- End-to-end test of a form and a call before any ad money.
Iron rules: phone first, no double-counted conversions, click-fraud protection, leads never leave our database.
What runs by itself
- Daily: a Google data report, 5 new city pages released, one AI-written guide. Each pauses if Google stops indexing.
- Weekly: a Claude SEO agent fixes pages, titles and links, and tunes pages for AI answers.
- Every lead: logged, recorded, AI-summarised, emailed to the contractor and sent to Telegram, tagged with its ad and keyword.
Coming next
- Meta ads (Facebook, Instagram) for trades with planned, visual jobs. SealWell's ad account and tracking pixel are set up; the ads aren't running yet.
- Social pages for every brand, mostly automated. A Facebook page and an Instagram for each brand. AI writes a month of posts at a time, we approve them, and they publish on schedule by themselves. Later, one approval queue for every brand's posts.
- Finding people who ask for help in local groups. A scraper watches local Facebook groups for posts like "anyone know a good exterminator?", drafts a reply under the brand, and alerts us. It's built and tested but not switched on yet. Nextdoor neighborhood pages come next.
